Laura Linney

Laura Linney was born in New York, New York on the 5th of February, 1964. She is an American actress who is known for her ability to portray strong characters who are also vulnerable. Linney comes from a theatrical background, since her father was a playwright Romulus Linney. Linney received her degree in 1986 from Brown University in 1986 and then went on to study at the Arts Theatre School in Moscow as well as graduated in the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) New York City 1990. The actress began performing in Broadway in the very first week, and soon received praise for her performances in Six Degrees of Separation (Six Degrees of Separation) and Hedda Galer.
