
Harvey's profession began when he was a comedian. The 1980s were when Harvey did stand-up comedy, and hosted Showtime at the Apollo as in addition to The Steve Harvey Show (The The WB). He later appeared in The Original Kings of Comedy after appearing in the Kings of Comedy Tour. The last stand-up event he did took place in 2012. Harvey is host of Family Feud as well Celebrity Family Feud. He has held this position since 2010. Harvey also hosted of Little Big Shots, Little Big Shots Forever Young as well as Steve Harvey's Funderdome. He's also an author and has published four novels including the bestseller Act Like a Lady Think Like a Man. Harvey established Steve Harvey Global, an entertainment company which houses his production company East 112 and a host of different ventures. He also launched Family Feud Africa and was an investor in Anthem Sports and Entertainment's purchase of HDNet. Marjorie Harvey and Steve Harvey are the founding members of The Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation. They are a non-profit charity that has a focus on youth education. He's won seven daytime Emmy Awards Two Marconi Award winners, and fourteen NAACP Image Award Winners in several categories.
