American actress Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She began her acting career by playing supporting roles in the teen-oriented films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). She later played reporter Willa McPherson in the FX series Dirt as well as a supporting part in the short-lived drama The Ex List. She starred as a young Moira O'Hara on the first season of FX's American Horror Story, and played Kaylee in the season's third. She was Jessie Anderson's character in the AMC series The Walking Dead. Sophie was the character she played in the NBC series This Is Us. She voiced a variety of characters in the show Family Guy, an animated comedy. She is currently voiced by Melinda "Mel" Monroe in Netflix's show Virgin River. Breckenridge was raised in Darien in Connecticut. She relocated to California with her mother at the age of 10. The family moved around for one year before eventually moving to Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 when she started to develop an interest in photography, acting and singing. At the age of 15, she moved with her mother back to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career
